Description:

Leader in our field, XTL Transport is presently looking for a mobile mechanic at his Airdrie terminal.

Summary:

The mobile mechanic will be responsible for servicing and repairing tandem and quad axle trailers as well as minor running repairs to company tractors. The mobile mechanic must be equipped with his own tools (up to 3/4'') and is expected to be adequately equipped in order to perform professionally and efficiently. The mobile mechanic is assigned to and is responsible for the service truck, equipment and inventory on board. The maintenance office will assign work suitable for the mobile environment. The mechanic will operate out of the Airdrie terminal. However, at times, he may be required to travel to other sites / yards.

Main requirements and competencies:

Licensed or registered apprentice; Minimum of 2 years experience with trailers and heavy equipment; Organized and thorough, valid driver's license

Outdoors
