    • Diesel Technician/Mechanic Position Job Description:
      • Perform Preventative Maintenance on Diesel Engine School Buses.
      • Conduct fuel and electrical diagnostics with limited supervision.
      • Complete most repairs and parts replacements.
      • Accurately complete written record of work performed.
      • Communicate with Drivers regarding “Vehicle Condition Reports"" and make appropriate repairs.
      • Maintain a clean work and shop area as directed.
      • Other duties may be assigned.

      Diesel Technician/Mechanic Position Primary Duties:
      • Preventative Maintenance
      • DOT inspections
      • Oil changes
      • Air/hydraulic brakes
      • Suspensions
      • Transmissions
      • General Maintenance
    • Requirements:
    • 3 years of school bus maintenance experience OR 3 years of heavy duty truck experience is required; Must Provide Own Tools; Steel Toe Boots; A valid Class B CDL with air brake/ passenger endorsement preferred; ASE Certification preferred; Technical School Degree preferred; Must provide a basic set of tools; Steel toe boots are required; Must Have High School Diploma or GED; Must Be Able To Pass Pre Employment Compliance DMV / Crim check; CDL - Preferred (B air brake / with passenger endorsement); ASE Certification Preferred; Tech School Degree - Preferred .
