Key Accountabilities
Partner with the Service Supervisor to schedule workload and optimize productivity in service operations
Act on all incoming customer calls/requests and effectively schedule work and conduct follow-up during and after job completion
Ensure internal and external customers requirements are met in an efficient, knowledgeable and professional manner
Review relevant information to provide customers with repair quotes and technical support
Obtain customer purchase orders and expedite jobs through warranty department
Set up, update and maintain Service Scheduler and DBS in a timely and accurate manner and assist Technicians and customers
Review machines for active service letters prior to recommendations on additional repair opportunities
Monitor work in progress reports with Supervisors and Technicians to manage company objectives within the invoicing process
Determine Customer Service Agreements (CSAs) and warranty coverage of relative equipment
Coordinate local purchase and freight activities and all equipment repair activities with Service Supervisor
Review and process work orders, service reports, warranty claims and timecard entry for payroll purposes
Participate in workplace safety, environmentally sound and healthy behaviours and objectives at all times in support if Toromont’s Health and Safety Policy/ Programs and best practices
Key Qualifications
Post Secondary Education in a technical or mechanical program and 2-5 yrs experience in a support role within the heavy equipment or truck industry
Self directed with high level planning, scheduling and attention to detail
Solid business acumen with strong analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills
Commitment to deliver internal and external customer service excellence continuously with a sense of urgency
Superior communication, interpersonal and organizational skills to interact with all levels of cross functional teams
Ability to effectively achieve results in a fast-paced and demanding environment with multiple and competing priorities
Advanced computer literacy with proficiencies in Word, Excel, DBS and other programs
