Want your welding ticket? You can be ready to write your test in one year!

In Fanshawe's Welding Techniques program you'll learn how to perform most basic welds and you'll be ready to test for a welding ticket at the end of the program.

You'll pick up a wide range of job skills for the welding trade, including health and safety, blueprint reading and sketching, applied math, communication, shielded metal arc welding, gas metal arc welding, introduction to computers, and all-position pipe welding. And you'll even get practical experience through a 120-hour work placement.

If you want to be a welder, and enter the workforce quickly, this is the program for you! When you graduate, you'll be qualified for job opportunities as a welder, welder fitter trainee or as an apprentice in a range of trades including welder, boilermaker, construction millwright, industrial mechanic/millwright, ironworker or pipefitter.
