Stainless Steel Fabricators

Duties include:

• Read and interpret architectural drawings, blueprints and/or shop drawings including work specifications and detailing information to determine sequence and method of fabrication
• Lay out, measure and mark dimensions and reference lines as indicated on the drawings onto sheet metal using scribers, dividers, squares and rulers
• Use plasma cutting equipment, hand and power shears, snips or other light metal-working equipment to cut sheet metal
• Set up and operate light metal working machines which may include shears, brakes, punches, and drill presses forming rolls and routers to bend, punch, drill, shape or straighten sheet metal
• Shape metal material over anvil, block or other form, using hand tools
• Trim, file, grind, de-burr, buff, and smooth seams, joints and rough surfaces, using hand tools or portable power tools
• Weld, solder, bolt, rivet, screw, clip, caulk and bond component parts to assemble products with the use of hand tools, power tools, and equipment
• Work on job sites to install finished product

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of custom stainless steel fabricating experience
• Ability to visualize a finished product from a drawing
• Good physical condition
• Attention to detail
• Ability to communicate technical information
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work within a timeline
• Ability to work in a team environment and independently
• Experience in TIG welding of light gauge stainless
