Vale Inco Limited - Manitoba Operations in Thompson, Manitoba is a fully integrated mining, milling, smelting and refining facility producing more than 100 million pounds of plating grade nickel annually. We also produce copper, cobalt and other metals for use by industry.

We are searching for:

Industrial Electrician, T.Q.

Vale Inco Manitoba Operations is looking for experienced and qualified Industrial Electrician. 

Education

• An Inter-Provincial Red Seal Certificate of Qualification as an Industrial Electrician, or
• Minimum Level 3 standing as a registered Apprentice in the Province of Manitoba are considered prerequisites

Knowledge and skills

• Reading electrical prints and schematics
• Knowledge of power distribution systems
• Knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code
• Experience on working on voltages up to 13.8 K.V.
• Experience with maintenance of motor control circuits
• Experience with cable splicing techniques
• Working knowledge of PLC's
• Instrumentation experience
