Position: EXPERIENCED FLOORHANDS (min. 6 months experience)

Essential Job Description:

The Floorhand is the starting position on a service rig. During the tripping in/tripping out process, the Floorhand is responsible for making and breaking the connections to the pipe. The Floorhand is also responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of the rig floor and assisting the Derrickhand and Driller when needed

• Learn and adhere to all company and Government safety regulations pertaining to the worksite

• Participate in safety initiatives

• Assist Derrickhand and Driller as needed on the rig floor

• Ensure that the rig floor is clean

• Ensure that preventative maintenance is performed on equipment as outlined in maintenance manual

• cleaning up and placing tools in proper place

• Assist in moving the rig, rigging up and rigging out.

Qualifications:

• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada

• Minimum 18 years of age

• Physically fit (having labour or industrial experience is an asset)

• Valid Drivers License

• H2S Alive (preferred)

• Standard 1^st Aid (preferred)

• High School diploma would be an asset

• Must successfully complete Pre-Employment Screening process (drug and medical)
