RESPONSIBLITY LEVEL:
Under general supervision, support the needs of the customer's training group by maintaining training records for all customer and JCI employees.
 
PRINCIPLE DUTIES:
1.      Maintains schedule of training classes, coordinating with multiple departments and/or vendors.
2.      Coordinates and schedules vendors for all internal and external training in accordance with JCI, the customer and any regulatory requirements.
3.      Maintains a separate training file on individual Johnson Control's employees at the account.
4.      Maintains training files on customer and JCI employees and classes.  This consists of recording enrollments, class schedules, employee transcripts, class costs, etc.
5.      Provides monthly training reports to the customer's departments summarizing the training attended, course costs, and reading completed.
6.      Maintains, coordinates, and tracks required reading and required training for all employees.
7.      Tracks enrollment data for specified courses to assist in the development of course schedules.
8.      Responds promptly to telephone, written, and personal inquiries regarding training programs.
9.      Works with subject-matter-experts to support course design and development.   May grade tests for classes as required.
10.  Schedules, assigns, and maintains classrooms/conference rooms for training.
11.  Maintains and sets up equipment, manuals and other supplies needed for each class.
12.  May maintain learning program evaluation database to track participant evaluations and program effectiveness or training WebPage for multiple departments to keep information current and accurate.
13.  Performs periodic audits of files to ensure compliance with JCI, the customer, or regulatory requirements.
14.  Maintains training library and responds to requests for materials promptly.
15.  Assists the customer's Training Group with skills assessments and needs analysis for all employee positions.
16.  May deliver basic outlined and scripted JCI courses to JCI employees as needed.
17.  Assists the customer's Training Group with any other miscellaneous job-related duties and projects as requested.
18.  Complies with all company policies and procedures and adheres to company standard of business ethics and conduct.
19.  Performs as a team player committed to working in a quality environment.
 

Qualifications

 
REQUIREMENTS:
1.      Associate's Degree with an emphasis in education, training or communication plus three years experience or the equivalent.
2.      Experience in maintaining databases such as Excel and Access as well as experience with Register, Word and PowerPoint is required.
3.      Excellent oral and written communication skills are required. 
4.      Strong organizational skills and the ability to continuously manage multiple tasks are required. 
5.      The successful applicant will also be self-motivated and detail oriented.
