GENERAL SUMMARY:
· Employing assigned resources of materials, equipment, and people, mutually satisfy the customer requirements for quality, cost and delivery of product/information and the company's financial, environmental, and safety objectives.
· Engage unassigned resources in satisfying these requirements with a style that fosters communication, cooperation, and participation.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Continually translate unit sales forecasts into production/inventory plans that meet customer needs and JCI management objectives. If unit sales forecast is not provided by marketing /management, generates this forecast from sales $ forecast, unit sales history, and other information.
· Improve overall productivity as measured by Return on Investment via profit improvement and asset management.
· Responsible for the quality of the products produced.
· Maintain accuracy of assigned Symix master files and material transactions.
· Maintain a union free environment through proper administration of the operation's human resources policy and procedures.
· Create a work environment for assigned personnel that is challenging and productive, with a focus on continuous improvement and customer satisfaction, via an emphasis on respect for the employee (training, safety, and housekeeping) and on employee accountability, and that is characterized by cooperation, communication, and participation with other functions.
· Maintain a disciplined routine of operating per, training to, and auditing for compliance with the operation's safety program.
· Comply with the training requirements stated in the training section of the quality manual and attend the Management Review Meeting.
· Assists in the successful transfer of products into the operation from other JCI facilities.
