Job Summary
Ledcor’s Industrial Group handles all aspects of heavy industrial construction and is capable in all sizes of projects across a range of sectors, including Energy, Forestry, Mining, Oil and Gas, Manufacturing, and Oil sands work. Services include site development, civil / concrete, structural steel, mechanical, piping, instrumentation, commissioning & start up assistance and in-plant maintenance. Ledcor Industrial performs to the highest safety standards and produces quality results.
 
The Scheduler, In-plant Maintenance is responsible for the day-to-day scheduling of the in-plant maintenance activities which maximize resources, material, labour and minimize production impacts. 
Responsibilities
  • Clearly supports Ledcor’s core values
  • Gathers and amalgamate all maintenance activities including emergency, urgent and routine work orders, schedule, and critical path
  • Coordinates with discipline planners the planning of all work order
  • Partners with management to determine priority of activities
  • Ensures all required material, labour, and contract services are available to complete scheduled work
  • Evaluates requisitioning of resources and materials for alignment with operational priorities and completion dates
  • Provides input and acts a resource for the planning function.
  • May perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • 7-10 years experience in a maintenance/shutdown/live plant environment
  • Engineering degree in a related discipline or related trade certification
  • Experience using Microsoft Project, Primavera and / or CMMS for planning
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Self motivated and results focused with the ability to produce quality work with little guidance
  • Familiarity with maintenance trade disciplines
  • Superior organizational and planning abilities
